ROUND LAKE BEACH, IL – Join us for a night of celebration! 98.3 The Life invites you to celebrate two decades of quality public community radio on the air! This event will honor the people and organizations that have contributed their time, effort and financial support to keep the community station operating. 98.3 is an IRS 501 (C) (3) recognized not-for-profit organization that is operated by more than 35 volunteers. The Gala is dedicated to raising funds for the radio station’s operating costs. This special evening will take place on Friday, September 26, 2025 at 5PM at Parkway Banquets, 25212 W. Lake Shore Drive, Ingleside, IL. Individual tickets are $75 (dinner included). The Gala promises a fun-filled evening with an awards program, music entertainment, a live comedy improv session, and raffles!

The Geo Award is named after the late Senator Adeline Geo-Karis who was well known in Lake County as “Geo”. She was an early supporter of the station and helped to obtain funding to acquire broadcast equipment.
